Nostalgic Track ''Location'' By Camera Cult Is Lustful and Sexy

 Camera Cult

Camera Cult

Any well written ballad song has a special element that makes the song. For Camera Cult's latest track titled ''Location'', that element is the nostalgic feel of the 80's funk and soft pop vibe.

The lyrics are simple and well written for this ballad. As the band explains, ''Location'' is a smooth R&B track upon which Ricky Vasquez’s (the lead singer) brooding vocals carry the tune along. Vasquez plays the narrator who is actually an ill-intentioned man trying to exploit a woman’s vulnerability after a recent heartbreak. To make it even more appealing and convincing, there's this sexiness in the melody you will definitely feel when you tune into the track. One could say it's the synth, the impactful kicks or something else, but whatever it is, that song is impressive.

Camera Cult is a three headed band from Houston, Texas. Influenced by the 80's pop/funk/dance music genre in the likes of Prince's Purple Rain or Morris Day & the Time, Camera Cult is gradually getting the attention of plenty of audiences. Starting from their community in Houston to the surrounding areas, this band have been receiving very positive feedbacks on their live performances. Lately, they've been opening for more nationally known artists like Run River North, Young Rising Sons, and Half Noise. Pretty impressive for a band that only formed 4 years ago.

Get ready because Camera Cult is a band ready to bust open the door and come into their own as a group. With a unique blend of indie, synth, and pop… this trio is sharper and more mature than ever.
