J Elle Flourishes In Her Art With New Song, ''Take Me Away''
Many music genres can be blended and make a fine result if the right tools are used. Aspiring British singer J Elle has those tools and brought something particularly beautiful in her latest song, ‘‘Take Me Away’’.
Pop and alt-R&B music has never been that much good by an up-and-coming talent like J Elle. The beat brings this fresh vibe to the track only to gradually give even more flavors with J Elle’s enticing vocals. The instrumental is composed of a gentle guitar with xylophones sounding melodies which in its embodiment serves as a nice concept of what the song is about.
The London-based artist says of the song, “ ‘Take Me Away’ is about finding the right person, becoming infatuated by them, and just wanting to get away with them. No distractions, just the two of you. Being on a beach is where I'm happiest, and that’s the image I had in mind when writing the song. It’s inspired by my own relationship.”
J Elle only made her debut late last year, with the self-penned 5 track ‘Phases’ EP released in December. Fusing together a modern alt-R&B sound with irresistible pop sensibilities, J Elle is already making waves having garnered support from the likes of High Snobriety, New Wave District and About To Blow.
J Elle’s journey in music began when she was just 9 years old. Previously more focussed on football, she had been playing for Arsenal Girls before she started singing. Influenced by her brother who was strongly into R&B, J Elle started making music at the age of 16 - supported by her school which offered many opportunities for making and performing music - allowing her passion to grow into what is now her profession.
This is obviously a very promising debut for J Elle. Only the future will determine how she fares but for now, we can say that all the stars are aligned for J Elle to make a huge splash in the music industry if she wants to.
